"Glitch of the trip!"
It seems like we've always had our share of breakdowns on our vacations and on trips when traveling with the RV. I guess this trip hasn't been an exception. Hopefully this will be all that happens and this little glitch is the worst of the trip.
We were on I-75 when somehow we were behind someone towing a boat when all of a sudden we seen a boat seat coming at us through the air. I was reacting things out in my my mind for the best defense when it hit just under the front wheel. We ran it over with the front wheel & back dually and it appeared that it had damaged the camper fender. Fortunately it was lodged on the step and that is where the impact stopped at. It fell off before we got stopped. We pulled over and learned that the boater had just purchased the boat about 10 minutes prior to the incident. The seller had apparently tossed it into the boat before they left. There wasn't any damage and the boat seat turned out to be just foam that had the covered material around it.

Love those stories with a somewhat happy ending! If it had been us, I shudder to think what damage that evil boat cushion would have caused! I75 just north of us has had a coupleof years of major reconstruction going on. The blow out we had in April was out there, although the construction was not at fault. However, I have discovered when driving the wife's car that little white BMW diesels have windshields that are gravel magnets! Every trip. Ping. Pang. Pong. Looking like moon craters! Anyway, be careful on I75 in Pasco and Hernando counties in FLA!

Glad everything turned out okay. There is always danger lurking out there.

Glad you are all OK and had little damage. We avoided I75 as much as possible on our snow bird trip this past winter. We took primarily I65 down and I95/I80 on the return. We had an 18 wheeler pass us on I80 west of Cleveland. Before he could get back in the right lane he blew a tire. Thankfully we managed to avoid all the debris. Goes to show you have to constantly be aware while behind the wheel.

Glad to hear the was no damage. I travel a lot of time with 3 or 4 couples and it is amazing that most every trip somebody has a problem. My last trip somehow my trailer came unhooked and damaged the truck. The trip before that I had tire problems and had to replace all 4 tires. I am hoping the black cloud went south. Happy travels.
