New Montana Owner
Hello everyone, I just purchased a 2010 324RLQ to live in. I retired a year ago and now just sold my house and bought this so I can move between my son's and daughter's. I lost my wife of 39 years to Cancer 4 years ago.
The previous owners of this unit never used the furnace. When I first started it it worked fine but then when it got up to temperature it shut off, and since then it won't ignite. My problem is on how to access the furnace to trouble shoot it. Any help on how to get to it would be appreciated.

Look outside the furnace will have an access panel. Look for a vent outside it will say hot.

Welcome aboard! If there's no outside access then troubleshooting gets more difficult. However, first place to start is with the symptoms. The furnace performs steps in sequence so knowing where to jump in depends on what it's doing, or not doing, in sequential order.
First thing to check is the furnace 12v fuse to make sure it's sound. After that, set your thermostat to call for heat then take note of what it does.
Does the fan spin up? If so, does it attempt to ignite? If it ignites, does it go out right away?
Let us know what you're getting and we can help get it resolved.

Furnace
There is no outside access. I know it's either the igniter or the sail switch. I just couldn't figure out how to access the furnace. I just found out there is a local mobile RV repair close by, I have mobility issues so I called them and they are coming out in the morning.

Welcome to the forums and congrats on getting your Montana. I'm not familiar with your floor plan or where things are positioned, but it sounds like you have help coming to the rescue! Glad you have assistance coming! I hope everything gets resolved easily and doesn't cost a small fortune!
Enjoy the forums. They get addictive after a while, so beware!
Happy camping! Again .... Welcome!

Might not be helpful but I had mine do something funny the other day - both the AC and furnace were running at the same time and switching the thermostat didn't seem to make a difference. They would both shutoff and both turn on. I pulled off thermostat cover and it reset and started working right again.

Glad to hear it! There are always solutions...it just can take some time to discover the right one. Definitely need the heat this time of year.
