Antique 5th Wheel.
Hello all.
We bought a 2000 one owner 28ft 5th wheel, as well as the 2001 Ford.F250 Powerstroke truck. The owner was an older gentleman, a machinist by trade who took great care of the rig. A folder full of maintenance records sat on the seat along with a tuner he installed for towing. Although the exterior shows some deferred maintenance, a good cleaning will spruce them up nicely.
The truck has 190k and runs well. We also have a 97 Born Free 24 ft coach with a 7.3 as well, we use to transport our son to college, and travel.
The 5th wheel is like new inside whereas all the carpet is covered with plastic and throw rugs and no signs of wear and tear.
I am retired working part time enjoying vintage Hydroplane racing. Honey has a few years to go. Not sure which one we'll end up keeping, but having fun.
