hard wired surge guard query

illapah Montana Master Join Date: Nov 2003 Location: Layton Posts: 1,048 M.O.C. #666	hard wired surge guard query I have been thinking of getting the hard wired surge guard installed. I have 50 amp service and supply cord. If using 30 amp cord at times, does the surge guard still function?
