Proud New Owners of a 3295RK
Just wanted to thank everyone for your information regarding our towing question around our F250. We have gone ahead and bought the unit and pick it up Friday, transfer everything from one to the other and leave for two weeks vacation in Lake Placid and Vermont. Fingers crossed everything works and waits till we get back to break down, if at all.
When I return I will dig a bit deeper into the forum and learn some of the set up suggestions people have had for storage etc. I think I will also invest in a set of air bags for good measure.

We currently, until Friday, have a '04 30' Outback fifth wheel. We love the lifestyle and the people we meet, just wish we could do a lot more of it.

Congratulations! You've picked a great floorplan and a great brand of fifth wheel. And best of all, you've found the forum! Enjoy your trip.

Good luck and welcome to Montana Country. Just picked up ours a month ago. Moved up from a Sprinter 5'er to the 3295 and loving every minute of it. Took a weekend shakedown, some minor things the dealer took care of and now heading on a 2 week trip from Western Oregon through Mt Shasta, over to Reno, then up through central Oregon then back home.
Really looking foward to the trip and the Monty.
Again, welcome.

We've had our unit for the past 10 months and really like it. Tows much better then the cougar we had. no major problems except the brakes went out when one of the wires rubed off the insulation and grounded out. the folks on this forum identified the brake problem right away and it was an easy fix. Lots of expert knowledge with the folks here.Enjoy your trip, we stayed at the KOA at Lake Placid a few years ago, very nice campground. if you go there you can cross over the street and swim in the river, my kids had a great time jumping off the 15 foot cliffs, I even took the plunge.

Congratulations! We enjoyed our four years in a 3295RK and feel it is an outstanding floorplan. From what we've seen it also has the most interior storage and counter space. Good luck. I hope you get lots of opportunity to enjoy it.
See another Montana or Mountaineer on the road? Flash lights twice, it might be one of us!
