Nevada Route Info US 93 and I80

How is US93 from Jackpot, NV to Wells and then I80 East to Salt Lake City? Has anybody been on these roads lately, what are they like?

thanks

I haven't been on that road recently, but it is a good road. Here is the report from Nevada DOT that shows some construction delays:

Location:

NV US93 between 13.5 miles south of Contact and 6.5 miles north of Contact

Report:

Miscellaneous construction; flaggers; pilot car; width limit 14 feet; travel delay 20 minutes; speed limit 55 mph; lanes reduced to 1 from 12:00 AM PDT on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 to 12:00 AM PDT on Saturday, October 31, 2009

We have driven both within the last 2 years. 93 was a great alternative to 95, 395 etc. to go south.

I-80 is just fine from Salt Lake City to Reno, and Wells.

Also about 2 years ago for us. US 93 was good road then as is I-80, or was at that time.

We have been over that road about 1 month ago and it was a good road. Make sure you have plenty of fuel, it's a long stretch.
