Minor accident
On a return trip from gulf coast on the 15th of May, we were involved in a wreck. We were traveling north on I 65 and a south bound Tahoe cross the median (after hydroplaning) into our path, swerving to left lane I still clipped the back foot of his rear fender, cutting down and destroying my right front tire, took both lanes and several hundred feet to get controlled and stopped. I kept our monty between the shoulders but it did swap lanes a few times.
Proud there was no traffic around us at the time. When we got home and opened the slides to get our stuff out, a can of cooking spray had fallen out of overhead storage and lodged under lip of kitchen slide, which tore out a 6" square piece of vinyl under fridge and tore the outside lower seal loose in same area. Other driver's insurance(Allstate) says they probably wouldn't pay because damage happened after accident. My adjuster says that they will. We will see.
My question is due to near jackknifing after flat tire on tow vehicle, what is the chance of alignment being out? Will be at dealer this Wednesday for estimate.

Glad to hear it was not worse than it was and no one was injured. RV'S don't like staying together when on their sides etc. bad enough watching traffic in your lane let alone the other side of the median.

Even if it's on your dime to check the alignment, $60 or $70 to do an alignment is better than worrying about it. We use Velcro strips around all the door handles on any cabinets that can possibly come open and interfere with slide operation. We've had a couple incidents with slides and cabinet doors.

We use Velcro also to keep cabinets closed. Needless to say, we learned this the hard way! Sounds like you did a great job controlling a potentially bad situation. Glad to hear you and others are OK. I would also recommend the alignment check.

I would do a in depth inspection of all suspension components. If not qualified, take it to an expert and bill outer guys insurance. Alignment check for sure.

Depends on state. Here in 'no fault land' the other guy's insurance doesn't pay you, yours does.

Actually, no-fault only applies to medical bills. If the other party is paying, they should handle all related costs.

Definitely will have alignment checked, by my measurements there is a 5/16" difference between axles. Thanks everybody for your responses.
