Will fuel mileage get better with new filters?

Will changeing the fuel filters help with fuel mileage? I'm just getting about 17 empty on the hi-way, about 14 around town, and about 9 pulling the Monty. I am going to change the filters this week-end and hope it gets better. I have about 56,000 miles on the truck.
