What year Montana and are the rims the TR6
This year at the fall rally the Trident talk, they passed out new tags to put on your rims if you had the TR6
They are for 110 psi.
On tires, from my previous post I am a big proponent of the Goodyear G614.
I would recommend that you go to tire stores and look at but the Michelin Ribs and the Goodyear G614.
The straighter the tread, with little or no cross thread will not heat up as much.
Same your money on buy new rims, no need to go to 17" rims.
Just go and look at the tires, you will see the difference and then make decision.
Just my thoughts.

E. Sven, thanks for the suggestion.
I am a die-hard fan of the Michelin tires, have had them on all my service trucks, and love the reliability of them.
I also trust Lonnie and his expertise.
Our Montana is a early '07.

Sorry for the long post.
The rims should be Trident TR6, contact them and they should send you new 110 psi. tags.
I am also a Michelin person for my vehicles the I drive, they are reliable on my personal vehicle.
Yes, Lonnie is very knowledgeable in tires.
If I had a question on HAVC systems you are very knowledgeable.
And yes say the rig weighs 14,000 lbs, what weight is on the wheels and on the hitch.
Yes a E rated tire meets the weight.
But, the real culprit that is causing a lot of the tire failures is not under inflation, but HEAT, the build up of heat in the tire.
What cause the heat, it is friction, the friction of the tire thread and the road surface.
The straight tire thread and the straighter it is creates the smaller amount of friction (less heat), all the threads that are going across the tire are just causing friction (more heat)
All the 5th wheel is doing is following the tow vehicle, it does not need traction as it is just being pulled.
Why do we put a M&S, mud and snow tire or traction tire on it?
That is just my two cents worth.
Michelin does make good tires, I had gotten over 80,000 miles on a set on my old pickup.
When you are going to put in a new heating or air conditioning unit, you talk to people in the business and then you probably go and look at the units, how they are constructed, do they feel rugged, when standing up and I put weight on them, do they flex, or is it rugged.
Again, I am sorry about the length of this post.
One last thing Goodyear G614 are Made in America.

Sorry, I had another Michelin in mind, more of a aggressive tread
That type of tread will dissipate the heat well.
The Rib was the other tire I looked at and compared to the G614.
