The "LUX CAFE"

Arrived in Elkhart, IN today and set up at Camp MorRyde. After checking in with Ben Wiginton, the Service Manager, we headed to Glenns favorite Goshen Restaurant, The Lux Cafe. Had another great meal. Just one question for you Glenn: How many times did you eat at the Lux while at this years Fall Rally???????

Trailer goes in tomorrow for a recheck on the IS that was installed last year. Will also have a receiver hitch installed to carry a couple of new bikes.

Hopefully they will finish tomorrow, then it's off to Camp Keystone to have front end bracing checked, then it's southbound. Hope we get out before the white stuff falls.....

Phil

That is one of the best all around restaurants we've ever found!

1 egg = 2, 2 eggs = 4, etc. Great eatery.

The "LUX" is the best and I should note that for the past 3 years they have been donating cash cards to the MOC Fall Rally. If you get there be sure to tell Jodi, the Manager, that we appreciate their support and that Glenn said "HI"

During our 2+ week stay this year, due to health reasons, Lorraine and I were there only 6 times. Past years just about everyday. BTW-This year we stopped at The Lux first and after a great meal went on to the fairgrounds to check in and it was on Tuesday, our departure day, that we had our last 2(4) egg breakfast.

Also, it seem inquiring minds want to know about my condition. Well it pretty much hasn't changed since the rally. I have had 2 more appointments but they were only for blood work. At 10:30 today (Wed) I have another appointment concerning the bladder cancer. Than between today and Nov 10th I have 7 more appointments scheduled. You would think that after the 10th I should be done with it but I ain't gettin my hopes up.

Glenn, that's why they call it "practicing". Keep the faith.

Glenn, Two days - two dinners at the Lux. It's hard not to go there with such good food and I really like the down home feeling. Would like to try somewhere different, BUT, It's hard to give up a good thing. Prices haven't skyrocketed either. Will probably go one more time and will say HI to Jodi for you.....

Have a great winter in Florida and get well soon........
