Finally made it to Monty

Hello to all. We are the Berra's from MI. We just purchased a 2005 3670. We've always wanted a Montana and are very pleased with ours. We have some experience from tents to pop-ups to smaller 5ers towing rec double with a boat behind. We pull with 2002 powerstroke. We are new to the club and need advice on tires, roof care, and where to purchase the front graphic for the rv. Previous owners had the dreaded truck window kiss. The "nosecone" is still bare after the repair. Thanks to all that can give advice. Can't wait to meet some of you on the road.

Welcome aboard, someone will be along shortly with info on the decal, have been a lot of posts lately about them and the company that makes them. You could possibly do a search on graphics and find the topic.

Nice unit. We has a 2003 3670 RL Lots of room. We pulled it with a 2002 Powerstroke. That 3.7L diesel is a good engine. The only problem we had with it was loosing a torque converter seal. When they repaired it the Ford dealer added a cooler for the transmission fluid. I pulled to Canada and back after that.

I think you can get the decals from Keystone. However, others have replaced them and may better be able to tell you how to get them effectively. Enjoy the unit. We did. There are several MOCers who own that floor plan.

You are just a bit late registering. Lorraine and I were just in Bay City a week and a half ago. If we had known we may have been able to meet face to face. We are now in Mackinaw and getting ready to head south thru the western part of the state eventually ending up in Goshen Indiana.

As far as the work you need done to your Monty may I suggest the 2008 MOC Fall Rally. It is at this rally where many many of the MOCers are able to get a wide assortment of work done to their Montys. Warranty or not Keystone will take care of you including the decals. You can call Customer Service at (574) 535-2100 and ask for Team Montana. They will set you up with the appointment. Just be sure to let them know you belong to the MOC and will be attending the rally.
