Hub Covers

Does anyone have an internet source for the stainless steel hub covers for the Montana wheels?

No I don't ... but if I can ask a related question, are they supposed to be able to be turned by hand? Don't mean to hijack your thread..

This is not an internet source but any tire store should have or should be able to get the hub covers. Most are simple inserts and will rattle and turn.

Jay, if you look at the inside edge of the cone that is to the inside of the wheel you will see 4 crimp places about the size of a pair of wide pliers. If you use your pliers to bend that crimp out slightly more it will cause turning and rattle stop.
I have checked at tire stores and they have not had them and did not know where to order them. It's the size and the open ended kind that stumps them. The secret to their size is the letters on the inside of the cone on the sticker. The 490TT is the size. (4.9")

I don't have an Internet source but I purchased mine from MOR/ryde in 2003 when I had their IS system installed.

Thanks Orv, I may call MorRyde tomorrow and see if they still carry them. I can always go to a dealer also. I did find an internet source but, I am not certain they are just like the factory hub covers. They do appear to be the same size though. The source does not have a photo to compare to.
I did send an email to the dealer I bought the rig through several months ago, they haven't got back to me. I guess they are still checking. I have had some dings since the rig rolled off the lot. One of those PDI things that escaped me.

My dealer had them in stock. I know 'cause he bent my original ones up putting on the wet bolts and I made him replace them. He did so on the spot.

John, I see the Stainless Steel center caps that the Montana has listed in their product catalog. Thanks for the link. They are the K-490TT center caps. Now I wonder if they sell to the public? Joe

As an update to locating theses center caps. Thanks to the responses from all of you, I did call Tredit this morning and ordered the 490-TT stainless steel center caps from them. They come with a chrome center pop out cap also. I wonder why they don't include those from the factory? They did not gouge me either. They were less than $10 each.
The 4.90cb is the center bore for the caps. The lady I spoke with was very knowledgeable and helpful. She knew exactly the center caps the Montana uses.
