2006 3400RL wheel rating
I have been reading the posts on tires and wheels and have read that some of the aluminum wheels are rated for 110lbs of pressure.
I bought the 2006 3400RL used and have only had to have one tire replaced and did not look to see if there is a label or stamp on the wheel to designate its rating.
I am considering getting the Goodyear G614 tires for the RV and would like to know if the wheel is rated for them before I order the tires.
So, my question is if anyone knows offhand if the 2006 3400RL aluminum wheels are rated for 110lbs of pressure or if I have to take a tire off to look on the inside of the wheel?
Thanks in advance,
Alan

On my aluminum rims the marking is NOT inside the tire (where the air is). It is inside, as in inside edge of the rim as opposed to outside where the shiny part is. All you have to do is crawl under the rig with a flashlight and poke around the visible parts of the casting that are in front of your eyes.
I'm not trying to be sarcastic or anything. I thought myself, for a long time, that folks were talking about inside where I would have to unmount the tire from the rim to see the marking. I'm not sure this is what your post indicates but you definitely don't have to take any tires off to see the markings (at least on my rims).
Sometimes English is frustrating, eh?
Side Note: My spare is not marked with a psi rating it is marked with max pounds (3750#) grrrrrrr.

At the last Fall Rally Tredit indicated that the 8 lug aluminum wheels can handle 110 lbs. They provided new stickers and I requested and received a letter stating the wheels had been re-rated. I have just had the Goodyear G614 tires installed. Thanks to exav8tr who has them and so far so good on there reliability. They are traveling much more than I am at present, but we hope to start traveling more soon

Yep, what BW2 says. You might want to contact Tredit Tire and Wheel in Elkhart, IN and ask them for a letter and new stickers. A tire shop may balk at putting more that 80psi on your wheels without documentation stating they have been upgraded. Currently your rims are marked 80psi and 3042 lbs. We are talking about the 8 lug TR6 wheels, I hope....

Yes, Phil. That is the wheels Tredit was discussing at the Fall Rally. These types of conversations and presentations at the Fall Rally are a good reason to attend if you can attend!

Thanks to all.
I will look closer at the wheels Sunday to see if I missed the stickers.
Thanks again,
Alan

I have a 2007 3400RL, I looked at mine today. They have a sticker on the inside of the rim (not the air side)that says 110PSI.

My 07 does not have stickers...but I do have a hard copy email from Tredit saying they'll take 110 lbs.
