Stair tread question, inside stairs

Looked at the new units and the one we saw had a rubberized type of stair going up to the front upper level. Ours are carpeted. Wife wants to change and remove carpet. They are semi circular in the front so need some ideas on a non slip surface to replace with. Am putting laminate flooring up top and just need ideas for stairs. Have a call in to Montana on the supplier they use but not sure I'll gat an answer so looking for thoughts.

No thats not it. There is quite a curve to the front edge of the step. At each side flush with the stair back but at the front about 2 1/2 or 3 inches at the center beyond the back. It follows a gentle curve giving us "older folks" a little more stepping surface to use. I just worry about the slickness of the stair without some type of rubberized surface to step on otherwise I'd just use the laminate to cover it.

Thanks for the thought though.

Google rubber stair treads and you'll get a ton of listings, some commercial.

I have a 2007 Montana model M-2955 RL. Just bought it. While flusing tanks, I was running water through the kitchen sink and after about a minute the sink began filling up and stayed full. I had previously emptied the black and grey waste tanks. I took apart the sink trap and pushed a snake line through a long ways and it was clear. Is there a separate gate valve for the galley waste tank?

My kitchen gate valve is in front of the front tire on the drivers side. Yes there is a gate valve for the kitchen

You might look for a handle in front of tire that's where mine is for kitchen gray water

Some models also have it between the tires.

All the above are apreciated but non seem to fit my problem. Guess I'll have to contact Camping World, my local Montana dealer, and see if they can order the stair treads from Montana for me. That is kinda of a scary prospect though....

I'd still try one of those commercial outfits on the internet.

I had looked about a year ago for the exact same product for the stairs. Looked at commercial materials, etc. and never found that material. I have asked several sales persons at the rv shows and they have been clueless. I did have one contact that told me he would be marketing this material "soon" and e-mail me when this happens. I have never heard back. In looking at the material it looks a lot like a composite (Trex) type material with a slight radius on the front edge.
Keep looking and I will do the same.

Got ahold of parts dept at Lazy-Days and he found the steps. Correct size and all. Says MDS (crappy wood substitute) but available through them. Think it is a Montana part. Now the bad part, $60.50 each. Priced oak but wood alone was about $40 per step, still need to shape it and then make the router cuts for non slip area, at that I guess the price isn't all that bad. Ordering Friday!!!!!!!
