Hydraulic Reservoir

Hi. I am new to this forum and I am still learning about my 5th wheel. My husband passed away a year ago so all the maintenance is left up to me. My question is: where is the hydraulic reservoir located for my 2018 Keystone Cougar 27RLS? I can't seem to locate it and I need to check the levels. Thank you.

This is a Montana RV forum, but likely someone here has a Cougar. My guess is the hydraulic reservoir is in the right side of the front compartment where the batteries are located.

I believe that rig has electric level up instead of hydraulic. It will not have a reservoir.

Sorry for your loss.
In the files section you will find a maintenance check list.
Hopefully you will find this helpful.

https://www.montanaowners.com/forums...?do=file&id=13

Also in the files section you can find manuals for many items that may be similar to your rig.

This is an example of what a typical hydraulic reservoir looks like. It should be on the driver’s side sidewall in the forward facing storage compartment.

I completely forgot we are talking about a Cougar. I don't think they come with Hydraulic jacks.

Download the Lippert NOW app from Google play store. Lots of good info, manuals, TSB, troubleshooting etc.
Lippert also has excellent help desk support.

LindaL - there is a sister forum to this Montana forum - Keystone Owners Forum. You should be able to use the same sign-in credentials as you set up for this forum.

The OP also Posted this query on the Keystone Forum and the people there verified the Cougar has electric jacks. The OP then responded saying she now understands what she has.

good work team

This is what makes this forum so great. A Cougar owner comes with a problem and everyone pitches in to help anyway. And then Carl does a follow up on the Keystone forum to assure us the OP got the help she needed.
