Looking forward to November

With all that I have heard and have been able to glean from other websites (wet/muddy/skeeters etc)..I am somewhat concerned about heading to the RGV....I realize its early and recovery is in process and weather will change...with all the rain that has fallen and more to come I wonder when it will stop raining and start to dry out?? we hope to get down there mid November and I really do not want to end up in another muddy sloppy area for too long...would it be reasonable to expect the drying process to be in full swing by November??
