Iam looking to replace my tires on the Tv. I have an 06 Chev Duramax 3/4 ton. With previous vehicles I have had good luck with the high end Michelin tires. Any feedback or suggestions?
Thanks,

I have the Michellins also the MS series. Very good tire, IMHO they are the best tire going, although they are quite expensive. I have about 15000 miles on mine, no wear showing at all.

You might want to compare the General Grabber HTS price, specs and customer feedback on Tirerack with other of your choices. I've had them for 3 years now and have had outstanding service from them.

I am going with Michelin's as my front tires have 80,000 miles on them but are getting replaced soon. They wear well as long as they isn't an alignment problem.

The Michelin LTX M/S-2 and the LTX A/T-2 both have a 70,000 mile limited tread wear warranty. No other manufacturer offers a tread wear warranty for light truck tires that comes anywhere close to this. Michelin tires are generally the smoothest riding, longest wearing, and probably the least expensive when you factor in cost vs miles driven. That being said, they aren't always the best choice, it depends on how and where you use your vehicle.
There are several factory promotions going on at the present time, from various tire manufacturers, exclusive to Tire Pros dealers. We just finished up with a Michelin promotion, but there will be another one in November. It's usually a $70.00 rebate on a set of 4, and I believe that's what the November one will be. The others are listed below.
Continental - Ends Oct. 15 - Free Magellan GPS unit with purchase of 4 tires totaling $499.00 or more.
Continental - Oct. 17 through Nov. 27 - $75.00 rebate on set of 4.
General - Oct. 17 through Nov. 27 - $50.00 rebate on set of 4.
BF Goodrich - Oct. 1 through Oct. 31 - $50.00 rebate on set of 4.
Goodyear / Dunlop - Sept. 17 through Dec. 3 - $80.00 rebate on set of 4.
This is not an advertisement for our tire shop. I'm just letting you know there are some incentive programs out there that may be of help to you.

I'll be luck to get 45,000 mile out of my Bridgestone tires that cameon the truck when I bought it brand new. The back tires were wearing extra fast, but part of that was my fault for not rotating the tires in a timely fashion.
