My 3650 came with one in our center counter of the rear kitchen. We love it

I am looking at the space in my new 3585 with a view to making one that locks the necks or bodies down so the bottles stay put. If I find a plan that looks viable I will post it or a link.

Well we have a 3075 and I am going to make a wine rack of sorts to fit in the fairly narrow cabinet under the TV. It was actually my sisters sugestion for how to do it. What I am going to do is make a shelf, for lack of a better term, with slots in it like in a gun case. I will line the slots with some sort of cushiony stuff. The only draw back is that the wine will be stored upright. It should hold a case by doing two bottles deep. I'm not worried about leaving the bottles upright cause we will drink it up right away anyhow.

I bought a 2 case wine rack at cost plus just needed finishing made of pine it sits between our two recliners. took the little table out of the monty. while traveling I just put it under the desk in the slide enough room for it and the chair too put the bottle necks to the wall so they stay put have not had any problems with it and we have traveled quiet a bit also put a plastic cover on the floor under the desk just in case a cork leaks we have a 3400 with the recliners in the rear of the unit

Capt Kidd,
With all the sloshing going down the road, I think the corks will stay damp.

We opened up the space under our refrigerator(added hinges and a handle, etc. to the panel we removed) Then we took the molded pieces that wine is packed in for shipping( we belong to wine clubs so we used the packing from one of those shipments) There is room for six bottles of wine under there. We are not full timers so space for six is fine. Of course they are not on display like they would be in a wine rack but they do not jump or slide around at all.

We don't have wine "racks" but did install a 6 bottle wine "cooler" on the shelf in the closet. I kind of like the idea of replacing the table between the chairs with it but we just put a new table in there so that will not fly......Oh, well, it works where it is for now. If we were full timing we might need to rethink some.

One of our dining chairs serves as our "wine cellar". We just line it with plastic and then weave non-skid shelf liner (or towels) around the bottles so they don't bang together. Five bottles fit quite nicely! When we take a bottle out, we either replace it or pack in towels/paper supplies. Now if you want to get really fancy, you could have one "wine cellar" for red wine and one for white! We enjoy reading everyone's ideas and innovations - we've used so many. We are such a creative, sharing group - don't ya think?
