Just can't catch break from something leaking!
Geese! You would think that I could be allowed to experience at least one full month without something leaking somewhere. I have been home two weeks to the day and yesterday wouldn't you know it. I see water dripping, dripping, dripping, from the underbelly. Keystone repaired the black tank leak. Now it's the grey tank.
I thought spending $1000 dollars to move out for 3 weeks would maybe, just maybe buy me some peace of mind. But NOoooooo!
Excuse me while I go in search of some place to screammmm!

fla native
OUCHHHHIEEE
you know, we are hearing a lot about leaking gray/black tanks lately, anyone have a clue why?? did they change the vendor?? did the vendor change their specs?? makes ya wonder
Al and I have discussed this and have decided for the time being, we are NOT running with a lot of water in any of the tanks. Movement and water, well, we all know what hurricanes and flooding can do to the landscape. Kinda seems a dangerous combo??? We never ran with a lot of water anyway, but, we are gonna have less on board than before from now on. Call us careful. Or whatever!
Sorry fla native, ohhh, I heard ya screaming all the way to Michigan! SIGHHHH

fla native, you have my sympathies! Seems you just cannot buy a break!
I was talking to a gentlemen a while back about trailer leaks, more of the seal variety than the tanks, and he made a valid point about campers, saying that they all have one thing in common: they have either previously leaked, are leaking, or will leak.
It is a valid point for all of us to keep in mind. I had some more work done on our old Prowler due to a small leak, and like the shop owner said, it is a constant battle to keep these units dry. Actually, I suppose with them moving down roads and riding over bumps and railroad tracks, it is a miracle that more seals and tanks do not leak…

Sorry fla native. If anyone deserves a no leak unit, you do.
Maybe they just built the older rigs better. Of course working on this thing is my hobby.
Don't know what else to say.
