The LT Coopers on the Montana are 120/116 and we have 6K axles so we have more tire than axle. The truck is 120/118. So I can really stick my foot in it.....Right????

When I said stiffer I was not referring to the look of the tire. Not being an expert on tire construction I do think that looking at a tire will not necessarily tell me it is more flexible. I have read and been told by more than one tire service personnel and can probably provide internet links that say that ST tires are stiffer, but the information is several years old, etc.
One thing I am not finding is how those statements pertain to ST radials, however since there is becoming more information that states LTs are available as a replacement for STs, I am finally starting to find correlating information!
This old dog is finally learning a new trick!

Well, just got down out of the mountains and see lots of replies. I will look to see what the rating is numerically - but one thing is certain. The sidewall on the ST's was very flimsy and flexible. The Kumho LT was about half again as heavy and extremely stiff. They "feel" much better driving. I have never had Kumho's before and didn't have the time or ability to research. I had to make a quick decision on a Saturday afternoon. Time will tell if I made the right decision but after two blowouts since May when the unit was delivered is two more than I had on my Missions on the old Montana.

120S on the number - which was according to the owner of S&H tire equivalent to the Carlisles.

I had a set of carlisles on another rig. Had several blowouts with them, and narrowly averted two more, when the tread separated and someone noticed the wobble as I was driving the unit to storage. They are junk, as are all Chinese tires. Some of them are made in the U.S., but mine said Made in China right on the sidewall. On the other hand, I didn't have any trouble getting a settlement from them to repair the damage to my 5er. Take pictures, and save the carcasses.
