Air Conditioner

I just talked with a rv repair guy, I wanted him to check and add/recharge both air conditioners on our 2017 montana. He said the ac units are sealed, can't be charged, only replaced. Am I being fed a line?

Nope, he's telling it like it is. They can do electric work, blow out the fins and that sort of thing, but they are a sealed unit as far as I know.

Not all AC units are sealed units, just some models. Dometic Brisk Airs are one of those.

That is correct Dometic Brisk Air II are sealed units. From 2013 through 2015 they have had defective evaporator coils that leak! Unfortunatly I have had 3.
One 13,500 Bedroom Unit and two 15,000.
