Hypothetical Question

New RV under warrantee, the slide out rips the floor. Take it to the dealer, they say the slide out was out of adjustment.

The rip on the floor was repaired by covering it with unsightly glue.

Shouldn't the warrantee replace the flooring caused by the slide out?

Insist on it. If dealer is not cooperative then call Keystone customer service.

they should at a minimum, cut out the torn section and splice in a new piece.

You would think so. How far into warranty is your unit? Not sure, but I think there may be some kind of time issue associated with "adjustment" related claims. I'm currently in the warranty repair triangle, also. I'd suggest that you not wait to contact Keystone, to find out how the dealer framed/reported your warranty repair.

Your signature shows 2013 model. Is that correct? Extended warranty?

Yes and if they won't, and the manufacturer won't step up, it's time for a lawyer and possibly the state attorney general on a consumer complaint.
