antenna replacement.

in july we lost our batwing antenna. (left up ) traveled 4 miles and stopped and lost antenna and one arm.havent replaced it yet but seen the King Dome amplified jack antenna with lock sensor to lock in signals of hd tv signals over the air. it is only 12" tall no taller than a/c unit but would never have to raise or lower again. anyone have one and how do they like it. should be a easy change out uses same coax cables and installs a new power booster with it. thanks

Adding another 12" to the top of my rig would make me nervous.

I would try and reposition this thing somewhere else on the angled roof so it doesn't add any height even though it would be a lot more work. Just my humble opinion, but there are certainly braver people than me.

We purchased the King Dome antenna in July. For us it works fasntastic. I used the same mounting bracket from the original antenna and it was very easy to install. Clearance is no problem. I would highly recommend it.

We replaced our antenna with the "Jack" antenna from King Industries, works great. Isn,t any higher than my Max fan covers are. Like the part of not needed to raise n lower it. Has directional signal finder that takes all the guess work out of it. So, far, got more channels than my Wiengard got. Easy to install.
