When I joined this forum...I was advised not to by a number of members, non members and former members...this is the type thread I was cautioned about. The stiflingly of what, in my very humble opinion, seems be a normal response, to a normal question, on a normal thread.
Although not intended, this action stifles other posts on other threads for fear of further chastisement. Classic example, which I'll make very general. A MOC member is going to have part of his trailer replaced. He's having to do this due to actions of his own doing, by his own admission. However, so far posters have carefully avoided making any comments because of possible actions like above. So we have a case where everybody could learn something...but it won't happen because those who know all the details are afraid to bring up the subject.
In basketball, this would be called a "ticky tac" foul...not worth calling.
