That's why it's in the General Discussion/Sitting Around the Campfire section. Isn't that where topics like this should end up? In all this there are some very good reasons why it won't work that I tend to agree with (molecules too small, will leak out, too expensive, not practical).

If nothing else Jim, I think you have learned to identify fact from fiction.

All, It was quite a campfire. Art, I'm not sure I can still identify fact from fiction. I just made the assumption there was a mix in all the post.

cmp-shooter, thanks for describing those helium transport cylinders. I was referring to cryogenic transport, which isn't that common, and had forgotten my hazmat training on recognition of high pressure cylinders.

And even at 3000 psi (200 atmospheres), where the helium outweighs sea level air by a factor of about 40, it's weight is nothing compared to the steel that contains it.

heluim will keep your tire temp down .so less heat less chance of getting a blowout from heat.
