Wow, I'm surprised you got in at such a late date? What's the deal with Banff? The weather is supposed to be sunshine and 80's to high 80's in Nanaimo and Chase, BC, but then when we get to Banff, it shows rain for the next 15 days? Is Banff some kind of rain forest? :-)

Wait until you get to the Island. We call June "Junerary" because of the rain and cool weather which is usually the normal for June.

Restaurant

For a great steak, try The Bold Knight restaurant.
Just around the corner from the campground, less than 1 mile.

web page.

There’s also a large Bass Pro Shop close to the terminal. The cheapest place to fuel up is the Costco in Bellingham. They recently expanded the store and fuel islands due to all the Canadians that drive over the border for cheaper gas and diesel.

We have absolutely no internet at the Lakeside RV park in Bothell, near Seattle, and this shows you how tech savvy I'm not, we found out we have AT&T wi-fi hotspot on our phones we can connect to our laptops, and I have great internet again! Anyway, Lenny, we will only be on Nanaimo for 3 nights, so we will be arriving the 16th, and leaving the morning of the 19th. From there we will be taking the Departure Bay Ferry to Horseshoe Bay, and then be heading over to Chase, BC for a few nights, before heading to Banff for 5 nights.
