Sunny in Fort Collins right now. All bridges across the Poudre and Big Thompson Rivers are closed.

Thanks Ron. I in Yellowstone. I think it's best if I don't go to RMNP this year. I would love to see the elk. There aren't as many here as there was a few years ago. Now there is a mite that is killing the wolves, oh well balance of nature is what they wonted.

We looked down on the Poudre Valley from Glacier View today. No cars, still closed between Ted's Place and Walden. Highway 14 is still shut down because of mud slides and high water. Not as bad as Highway 34 though, at least from the photos.

Is this rain ever going to at least going to slow down? I drove down to Pueblo yesterday. WET, WET, WET !!! Pueblo to Springfield area could use a little of this rain. Driving back to Parker area we almost got caught in some of the flash flooding around Bronco Parkway.

We got another .9" today. Just under 9.5" for the month, considering 14.7" for the whole year. We still have to get off our driveway to go to rally. 19,000 homes destroyed or damaged, 50 bridges damaged or destroyed, highway 34 gone to Estes Park, 500+ people unaccounted for, and it is still raining. More people evacuated by helicopter than any event since Katrina. Colorado needs prayers. Personally, we have survived the fires and flooding without great sacrifice. But many are really suffering.

For Colorado Springs: Looks like thru the weekend we will have good weather. We need to dry out a bit!
Lots of folks have it way worse than us. Mountains seem to have it the worst. Some towns still isolated.
