Merry Christmas from Sue and I

From the beautiful mountains in Arizona.
We spent Christmas Eve day climbing to Morning Star Mine, our toughest climb yet. The rock-strewn road was the easiest part, the Bushwhacking across the mountain was the tough one.
We hope all of you are well and enjoying the season.
Mac and Kathy (Wepull MOC) were with us yesterday.

Ha! we did get hit by a blast from someone exploding a stick of Dynamite, we were about a mile away, I thought my Glock exploded, I put my hand down on it to see. My chest felt like someone punched me, Sue said her head felt the concussion the worst.
I looked over and saw a giant cloud of dust, if anyone was there, I bet they were hurt any closer than we were. I thought about checking, but didn't want to walk into another blast.
We were out of cell phone coverage, so I couldn't even call anyone.

Merry Christmas Ozz, hope you all continue to enjoy the desert. Keep your head down, this time of the year, people have mineral claims all over Ariz, and in order to keep them, they have to keep up easment work, be it pop and push or grade the road, they have to spend some money annually, and it's getting close to the end of the year.

Thanks for the info, I wondered about the claims process. That is interesting.

Happy holidays to you two and the puppy

OR could it be "combat geocaching" where the hidie sets up a little C4 with trip wires. Food for thought and think meth lab.
Merry Christmas
