Outside TV Options

We are penciling (spreadsheeting??) out our options for our 3580 order. At this point we are thinking of NOT getting the BigSky option but adding a Bigfoot leveling system. We save over half the cost of the BigSky package and figure we can add an IS suspension system for the cost of the BigSky paint and G rated tires. I may be wrong (can't seem to get straight answers from dealers) but I'm under the impression the G rated Bigsky tires are still offshore tires, not Goodyear or another quality brand.

But to the inquiry.... What do Folks use for watching ballgames in the great out of doors under the canopy? I have seen outside TV options in OB ads, but not for Montanta 5ers. Anyone wish to share how they get their favorite sporting events outside?

Thanks!!

All of the new Montanas have a 12V plug (along with a 120V plug) and TV RF plug in the basement. You can move the 12V TV from the bedroom and hang it in the basement for outside viewing.

The Big Sky package on the new trailers does include Goodyear GY614 tires. Ask Maximo and KSGirl/KSBoy. They both have the the package.

In the Montana brochure there is a color picture of the basement with the TV from the bedroom mounted on the provided bracket. We enjoy ours often. It is very easy to move. There are connections for 110 12 and cable. You can also go to the Keystone Montana website and take virtual tours that give thorough explanation. IF all else fails, just call or PM me and I will send you a brochure. Larry

You may want to verify that the BigFoot system won't void you frame warranty, since that system is in direct competition with the Lippert Level-up System. Lippert is picky about mods to their frame. Would be nice if you could just add the Level-Up system as an option like dual pane windows or second AC.

Carl is correct. We just got a 3580RL a couple months ago. You just take the 19" 12V TV from the bedroom and hang it in the basement. There is a mount for the TV installed, plus a 12V outlet, a 115V outlet and a cable outlet. Couldn't be simplier! Enjoy!

Mount was 25 from amazon.com...works very well and nicer than the bedroom tv as well

I have a Dish Network receiver with the HI-DEF package. I have thought that it would be nice to have HDMI cables run from the remote locations to the entertainment center. Nothing like have HI-DEF in the remote locations. Maybe this is a little over the top.

Thank You for all the responses. Talked with a Keystone rep in Indiana this week. Bigsky DOES include Goodyear G614's. Thanks for the High Def cable to the outside rack idea too. Makes good sense to have it done when they build it rather than after! This forum is simply awesome.
