EquaFlex wet bolt installation

Has anybody installed the Trailair EquaFlex wetbolt kit in their Mountaineer. Any problems, issues, suggestions.

We had the EquaFlex and the wet bolt kit installed as we were in Goshen last year for the rally. The EquaFlex works great and the wet bolt kit got rid of all the squeeking in the suspension and I do not have to worry about the bushings wearing out. It's a good investment.

I haven't, but plan to install wet bolts in the next year or so. The problem I saw is the Equa-flex kit didn't include the upgraded/thicker shackles. The Mor-Ryde kit does. Unless they changed something since I looked last. -Greg

We had it done at the Trailair service center in Goshen. They done a good job. The cost was $250.00 for parts and labor. It was easier for them than me to do it. Would have it done again. The bushings that came out were worn some after 4000 miles.

I had the Dexter EZ flex equalizer and wet bolt kit added to my 05 Mountaineer in March. It definetly improved the ride and well worth the expense. I bought the parts on sale from Dexter for about $180.00 and paid a local dealer $200.00 for labor.

Did it about 3 years ago. After a couple of cross country trips and lots of short trips the only problem is the inability to get grease into a couple of the zerks. Probably my fault on installation as I did not orient the bushings as later suggested at 3 or 9 o'clock position.

Otherwise happy with results. If as mentioned, you can get it done in the $300 to $400 range, do it! I did it myself but would jump at the chance to have it done for me at that price.

Also instead of putting the zerks on the inside of the bushings as some have, I used 45 and 90 degree zerks. They are accessable even after changing to 16" wheels and tires.
