We are leaving for Arizona in early January and if it all works out we will arrive at quartzsite in this time frame. We are traveling with friends that tow SOB, so while we may not get in your circle, we will be close by. We look forward to seeing past friend and meeting new ones.

Doug, As you know Cathy and I have only been doing this for this summer. We said we would not boondock for the first year. We met up with Dennis and Mary Kay of HAMRAD in Crescent City Ca and have decided to attend this event anyway. Guess I gotta buy more batteries and a gen, but sign us up. We will be coming from Phoenix and returning to Tucson. Can we take on water the day we get there or do we have to arrive with full tank. I don't like to travel with full h2O. Is there a place nearby to take on water??????

See you in Jan.

Phil & Cathy,
It is great to have you join us at Quartzsite and we are looking forward to meeting you two. You can fill up your water in town before you come out to where we will be on Plomosa Rd. but I would travel with a full tank if it was me. There is usually lines to get water and then they do charge for it also.

We are planning on coming just for a day visit. Always go to Quartzsite to restock RV supplies. But we are not set up for dry camping yet. There were just so many things we wanted the first year with our rig, generator was last on the list. Look forward to meeting many MOCer's

We will be staying in Apache Junction, AZ from November till early April. Not sure we want to break down the winter setup for a day or two trip to Quartzsite so may just take a long day trip over. Would like to meet some more MOCers. Have never been to this event before. How would we find you folks and can one see all the booths in a day? Or should we plan at least a two day trip. Do we need to do any up front registration for day trips? However, we don't have any problem dry camping in our 3400RL for a few days. We can do without the TV and microwave for a day or two! :-) Don't want to carry the extra weight of a generator so far.

Dave and Teresa, Dean, we will be having a visitors day where we all bring a snack or something to share. We will post the day and time on the forum when we decide which day it will be.

Dean, we are looking forward to meeting you also. We will post the actual directions to find us after we get there. Usually we stay about 1 mile on Plomosa Road, on the left side. We will have a MOC sign on the road with an arrow pointing to our area. You do not need to sign up for anything unless you plan on joining us for the camping experience. I think you can see a lot of the RV show in one day but there is so much more to see especially if you like flea markets, they are spread out all over the area.

Any idea yet what day you are planning on the visitor day. Not that you can't come just any daym but it would be great to see a whole bunch of people.

dandt,

The day is usually decided by the group once most everyone has arrived. Since we're having so many attend this year we may end up doing things differently. We'll just have to wait and see. Just leave the dates sort of open and we will attempt to give everyone enough time to plan to attend if they want.

Is there still time to count us in. Sounds like a good time. We will be driving over from Phoenix and would probably arrive on the 24th and stay through 28th. We have lots of company in January and February since we live in Phoenix, but want to take time to meet all of the MOCers. John loves these flea markets and is a rockhound. If he gets a hitch on the back of the 5th wheel, we will bring our ATV Karen and John
