newbies here

Was cruising through the internet and found this forum so I joined. We currently have an 04 Montana 3295rk and are really enjoying it. We are located in Frederick, Md. and have our RV parked on a lot on the Potomac river in Falling Waters, WV. We pretty much stay there in the summer months and only come home to mow the grass and get the mail. We are planning on retiring soon and hitting the road with plans to stay at the river in WV. 7 months during the summer and head somewhere south for the winter. I thought by joining I might get some ideas.
Our kids are grown but we presently have three furbabies that keep us really busy.
Thanks for letting me join. I'm off to check the forums out.

Welcome.....you will get lots of input on this subject. Some like Florida, others Texas and more for Arizona. Getting away from the cold would be the main thing. There are lots of activities for seniors in the Texas Rio Grande Valley, more commonly known here as RGV. Many of the Montana owners have a meeting at a local restaurant once a month during the winter and get to know one another, a fun time for all.

Thanks! I actually remember where I 1st heard about MOC. I saw a sight that belongs to the Reigles and have been following their journey. Somewhere in there MOC was mentioned so I decided to look it up.

Welcome to the forum!! Good to see another neighbor joining in on the great exchanges here. We are from the Charleston area but I know your stomping grounds well as both of our families are from the Randolph and Barbour County areas in West Virginia. Check out the postings regarding a mini-rally that Vabluebird is trying to get set up for next September. Just a short jaunt down I-81 to Staunton for you if you are interested.

Welcome. We stayed at Falling Waters a few years ago in a MH. We were up on a gravel type site, not in the campground itself. If I am not mistaken (I could be very confused this morning) there's outlet malls down the road.
Chuck's wanted to stay there again, but I wasn't impressed with a gravel type site. We probably should try it again. It would be a great stop on our way to Charlottesville, Va. Plus we have relatives in Chambersburg, Pa.

Welcome to the best information site around. Just about anywhere you want to travel there will probably be a MOCer around. Check out the rally section and find one near you. It is worth going to. There is also a section on pets. You can ask questions if you need to about your furbabies. See you down the road sometime...

Welcome!

The Montana Owners Club (MOC) will be your premier source for information about your Keystone RV product and to make RV’ing an enjoyable experience.

There is so much information at first that you won’t know where to start, but just read what is interesting; don’t be shy, and post your questions to the field of experienced users. No questions are too small or too big, there is always someone who knows something about your inquiry.

Oh, did I tell you about the bonus? The bonus is the great group of people who share a common interest with you!

See if you can schedule a rally in your future so you can meet some of these wonderful people and learn new ideas first-hand!
