Fire place has no heat.
Yesterday i turned on my fireplace. The flame lights came on but the heat only came on for a couple of seconds. I could see where the heat was orange up top and feel the warmth but then it went dead. The flame lights will still come on. Does anyone know what might have happened and a quick fix ?
Thanks

Year and model of your Montana would be helpful to those who might want to have a go at helping. Has it EVER worked properly for you? What is the FP thermostat set on?

I had a similar problem, so I was told by the manufacturer to pull out the fireplace and vacuum the dust on the unit, so I did. There wasn’t a lot of dust, but I did vacuum the dust that was there on the connections and other places and it did help. The fireplace now does not turn off but keeps on cranking out the heat. Hope this fixes your problem.

My fire place completely stopped working. After I dusted the front vents! It won’t turn on at all. Fuse did not pop! I’m in a 2018 3970. Seems I might have to remove it and vacuum it ????
Any other ideas?

Also, on ours, it is plugged into an outlet behind it and it jostled loose once. Kind of a nightmare to get to without taking the fireplace out.
It should have some kind of restraint on it.
