Step

Hey gang, have any of you removed the bottom step in your Monty? I think I can re-route the plumbing in our 1999 m/n 3255 if I can get the step off with out destroying it. Thanks for the help.

I've read this about 4 times now. You do mean the inside step?

Yes the inside step, the first step going from the living area to the bath/bed area. Sorry I didn't specify that when I first wrote the post.

Can you access the area under the steps from the basement? Our 2006 has a removable panel in the basement to access the heater and water pump. If not, you could remove the first step riser, the newer Montana's have the heater air return located there
