Tire Tread Wear Question
I have a unique looking wear issue. The rear tire on the right side and the front tire on the left side (driver). The second rib in from the outside of the tire looks as if it has not been used. The inside from that rib has even wear and the rib outside of the second rib has the same wear as the inside ribs. So, in researching this issue, I have been unable to find a picture of this wear. There is a pic of this rib worn down while the rest are even wear. So tire folks, any help?

Can't see a pic, but it sounds similar to the wear I saw when the belts were separating on a couple of my tires. The belt pushed out on the inside tread leaving a bulge around the perimeter of the tire which wore faster than the outside tread.

Brads right, it sounds suspicious. I would take a closer look at them, maybe even take on down to a tire shop

Taking the tires to a tire shop is in the plan. It is 7 to 10 degrees right now in Indy and way too cold to be outside working on the tires. When it warms up a bit, that is the plan. We need to resolve the issue before the season starts in March!
Just looking to any expertise / experience from the good MOC folks!!!!!

Called Tireco, they indicated it sounds like a tread separation issue beginning. They are replacing the tires. Shipping for the new and return of the old tires will be on them. Install will be on us.
Thanks all, this has been a good experience in talking and getting a solution with Tireco.

had the same problem on the curb side rear tire. showed bad wear inside of tire. kept rotating tires, still had problem. took monty to a frame shop. rear axle was toed out 3/4 inch. cost $250 to bend axle. many of these units come from factory with bent axles. either by binding down the axles or hit curbs while being delivered. though no one will admit it. i know i never hit a curb.
