Saved $1300.00

As you may recall I was looking at purchasing portable steps to make the getting in and out easier on Joyce's knees. Stanley on the Escapee forum came up with this idea. I used a scrap piece of wood I had. A tiny scissor jack I got for free from the dealer who sold me my truck and four screws from the hardware store. Total cost 84¢. Here's what I did:

Joyce was having trouble with her knees because the steps wiggled, particularly the bottom one. This just goes under the bottom one and actually stabilizes all of them, but particularly the bottom one.
