Can you get Warranty Service at the Factory?

Just curious if it is possible to arrange an appointment to get service for your Montana in Goshen? I’m the guy that needs the residential refrigerator replaced, and my local guy is a little concerned it might be beyond his expertise. He has a fairly new dealership and has never done it before. I don’t want to take it back to Camping World for service either.

I didn’t know if it is possible to get a service appointment and wait for it to get finished? I would think it would be a one day job, but am curious if anyone has done this before? Thanks!

Ask, but I would say probably not. Tiara RV in Elkhart is a Montana dealer that has done good work for us before.

FRIG warranty

Try the frig. mfg. Some people have had good success at getting replacement work done through the item mfg. rather than having to deal with Motana.

If it is residential fridge just buy something that is same size from a big box store! That would be a whole lot less expensive than having anyone in the RV industry replace it. In fact that is a strong argument to go with residential on new RVs!!

If you go this route, make sure it not only fits in the space, but the anchor bracket will work with it also.

The res refer in the RV is not a deep as a standard res refer so I doubt a big box store would have one or be able to get it. This is a new unit so should be under warranty. I have the same unit and my ice maker didn't work. Seemed to cycle but no ice. Dealer though usually good didn't know how to work on it and said Samsung needed to do it. I kept working at it and finally found a shut off behind the kitchen drawers. When I turned it on I got a shower. The factory install botched up the water line connection. Took me $2 and 10 minutes to replace the compression fitting on the valve and the ice maker has worked like a charm ever since. But back to your issue. To replace one is a major grunt job. I would definitely have a pro do that.

Call Keystone customer service and explain the issue...If it is still under the one year warranty you shroud be able to however getting appointment at th service center may be very difficult .The do farm out repair work as DQDick states. Call them and see what happens.

Richfaa and DQDick have the answer. Give Keystone Customer Service a call and explain the situation and see if they will recommend another service center around you or possibly a mobile service tech that might do the work for you. Give the Customer Service Center a call and I'll bet you can get some help or advice on what to do. I'm also assuming that you purchased your unit from CW and are not happy with them and their service department or you would not have mentioned that.
