Sticky mess!
The last time we had the RV out, we were parked under some pine trees and they left a mess on the rooftop and on the awning. What have you used to remove this sticky pine sap mess?

Awesome works for most things and at a buck a bottle, what's not to like. I also use it in my galley grey tank with some water still in the tank before traveling and what comes out is a white froth carrying all with it. John

We haven't tried anything yet. I'll pass this on to Brian.

If it were my camper I wouldn't do any thing. Its going to harden and not cause a problem unless you damage the roof trying to get it off. Can't anyone see it so I wouldn't bother.

I seem to hear that a lot on this forum, that you should leave your roof alone, yet on the road, a bunch of RVers that have been doing it for 20+ years, say you need to mind your roof? One guy says he uses the Mop and Glo for vinyl floors on his roof about 3 times per year? Anyone else have some good ideas on quick solutions to keep the roof lasting more than 5 years?

I think your roof is warranted for 12'years if you do nothing. I think it's 12, could be somewhat less but if only last 5 it should be covered if it is the roof membrane that goes bad and not the way it was installed or the plywood under it. A lot of people would disagree with my do nothing way but to me if it ain't broke don't even try to fix it. You might do more harm than good.
