Furnace

We picked up our new 2021 3121RL on Dec. 23. We left for a 4 day shake down cruise to Smithfield, NC on Sunday Dec. 27 which was frigid. Upon set up we had great difficulty getting the furnace to stay on through the iN-Command panel so the only sources of heat were the heat pump side of our rear a/c and the electric fireplace. After about 8 hours we got the coach up to 58 inside.

The next day we contacted our iN-Command and our dealer, explained the situation. Not a lot of help until we finally talked to the service manager. After telling him what was happening (furnace would come on, run for varying times from 5 to 45 minutes and quit) he said he had seen this many times.

His recommendation was go to the 12 volt fuse panel and check what Keystone installed in the fuse for the furnace. If it is black rather than blue 15 amp fuse, they installed a 15 amp self resetting circuit breaker (Hence the on and off). He said pull the breaker out (it comes out just like a fuse) and replace it with a 20 amp automotive fuse. It worked! HEAT!
