Large Rear Window

We have a 2010 305RLT Mountaineer. We happened to notice today that there is black, soft, caulking like material oozing out from around the metal trim on the outside of the large rear window. Is this normal? Has anyone else noticed this on their unit?

This is normal. It is a black or gray caulk strip they put around the window then install the window. When they tighten the screws for the window it squeezes the caulking to seal it.
You can trim it around the window if you like but be careful not scratch the wall.
