Hot Water Heater

I found water in the propane heating tube, any ideas on what could cause this?

I'm assuming you found it in the burner tube and not the propane line coming into the water heater. Several possibilities? -- rain forced in by high winds, water from washing the unit blown in from hose pressure washer, condensation from the propane burning(propane does give off quite a bit of water vapor when burned)
Has your unit been in storage or have you been using it this winter down South? Any of the above could happen in either situation but unlikely if unit is/was in storage and furnace not running while in storage.
I'm sure there will be other ideas come along here shortly!

Could have a hole in the tank or seepage around the temp/pressure relief valve or the check valve on the output side of the heater. Let everything dry out, pressurize the system and with a flash light observe the bottom of the tank above the burner area. If you have a leak you should see it pretty quickly.

We full time and have not washed the rig yet. As for rain none to speak of this week. Im thinking leak. I will dry it out tomorrow and check to see if more water in it.

That is where I had a leak! Replaced water heater. Hole rusted thru on weld spot.

May just be a loose water connection. Your rig is pretty new to have the tank crap out already.
