Uh-oooh...
May not make it after all; broke down in Pikeville, kY.
Lots of white smoke from the truck someone stopped by and said it was a head gasket. Enjoying the beauty of nearby traffic from the local Lowes parking lot. I have a tow on the way to tow me to Pikeville campground for tonight and then they are to tow the truck to a dealer tomorrow.

That definitely does not sound good at all! Keep us informed, hopefully it works out with a minor repair!

376,000 miles! They just don't make 'em like they used to.
Good luck. Hope it is not too painful.

Made it to the campground. Full service 50 amp water and sewer. Great price for only $25.00 per night. We even have cable TV as well however the down side is the location. One vista view look-out that might take 5 minutes to view if its stretched a bit.
I believe the problem is more likely to be in the engine oil cooler.
Looking at getting both units towed back home for now. Don't believe making the rally will be in the picture this year.

Will be having it worked on while we wait here. Hopefully it will be repaired and ready to use on Wednesday. Plan to still make Rally if repairs are completed in time.

I am surprised you made it that many miles without the EGR cooler Or the oil cooler going bad and getting clogged up,The 6.0 and a lesser extent the 6.4 are Notorious for that consider yourself lucky(if you can call it that) more damage was not done hopefully it will not hurt the pocketbook too bad, with 376K on that 6.0 liter you have got dang good service out of the Old Girl Hopefully I am that Lucky with my Duramax
