Any issues from the heavy rains in NC?

I see on the news that parts of N. Carolina got some very heavy rains in the last few days. Lots of flooding and damage. It appears to be mostly south of Mt. Airy. Has anyone heard of any issues or problems in northern NC or southern VA? Just wondering if we may encounter any travling problems.

We got over 2" on Saturday and another 1" last night, but we are about 80 iles south of Mt Airy. Hoping that it calms down for next week.

According to the NWS it looks like it will be a bit wet next week but the roof does not leak as far as we know. Looks Ok for travel Tuesday. We are ready to pull all we had to do was put the perishable food on board. We will hook up this evening and head for I-77 in the AM. Stop over at Ft Chiswell. We don't care about no stinking rain....

Judy and I have arrived at the campground. Absolutely no problems using Interstate 81 to Interstate 77 south to Interstate 74.
