My old Pal. I drilled out the orface so it is a super-hot grill, I can crank it up real high, or low like the original high.
It just didn't put enough heat out to use the griddle pan.

We do this all the time! The only difference is that we'll had some steamed veggies of some kind so we think we're eating more healthy. Just a bit of BBQ sauce and/or ketchup, a favorite drink and there you have it.
I like your grill, too. It sure looks a lot cleaner and better than the recent cheapie rust bucket I just had to retire and recycle. Our next grill will be much better.
