Just Making Noise.....
We think it's time to start creating some "noise" about.....
An upcoming Western Region rally... (In northern California)
The one... (This will be #4)
The only... (Well, it IS only once a year)
The ever popular... (heck yeah!)
The quite possibly very first MOC rally ever held... (was it?)
The home of "Searchers"... ( Don & Claudia Moore)
In the shadow of Mt. Shasta... (A really big volcano)
Home of the famous White Elephant "Dancing Flowers" (Oh no!...)
......Lake Siskiyou MOC Rally!
We're looking forwards to attending even though we still don't have a campsite booked....*LOL

Margee ... we LOVED the Siskiyou rally and I'm curious about whether or not it was the first rally. The first rally in Goshen was the last week of September in 2004 ... how does that compare?
Wish we could go again but the granddaughter graduating from high school in Virginia takes priority.

The first Shasta rally was in May 2005.
Thanks, Margee, for getting this plug on the forum.
We will be posting an agenda soon.
Happy trails......................

Yep, our first Lake Siskiyou rally was May 2005 as Parrothead said. So we were close. How about the first MOC rally (gathering) west of the rockies?

Margee, I know May of 2005 was the first MOC Rally held in Mt. Shasta and I believe the first out west. The 2005 Fall National was in Carson City, NV. At that event it was announced that two National events would be held each year. The Fall National in the east, and the Spring National in the west begining in 2006. So, Mt. Shasta was also the choice for the first Spring National west of the Rockies.
