Now I'm embarassed ....I usually just get one of those cheap old grills from Walmart for $27. Since it is normally just the 2 of us it does a half decent job. Sometimes I throw a little wet mesquite wood in the bottom with the burner. Sometimes when I am cooking for a group I will just throw my smoker in the bed of the truck and I can smoke a brisket or pork butt, it's just one of the round barrel shaped ones. But for burgers or steaks for us I just cook em up on my little Walmart grill. Hey, it's better then those Habachi grills we had back in the 70's lol lol.....

We use the Coleman Roadtrip. Mostly use the griddle as grates are hard to keep clean. It's amazing how long those little propane cylinders last.

We switched to the Nex portable grill from Costco because it has two separately controlled burners. This way I can use in-direct heat if needed when grilling. It costs $100 and is usually available in the spring and summer at Costco although it's available on Amazon for more money. I use a storage bag made for the Weber Q series I bought at CW.

guess im the oddball....i'd GIVE you my Q. hard to clean, ports plug up, and only single burner capability. i was thrilled the other day to get a deal on a brinkman tailgater, which fits in the truck bed so no mess in basement.
