Cookbook from Amish Dinner in Goshen

I can't remember who bought one of the Amish cookbooks the night of our Amish dinner. We discussed the "coleslaw" recipe and you offered to post it on here.

That would be Polly, who is currently up to her elbows in rubber stamps, ink, paper and other "toys" with her buddy here in Pleasant Hill LA.

Deluxe Cabbage Salad

1 head shredded cabbage
2 shredded carrots
1 chopped onion
1 head chopped broccoli
1 head chopped cauliflower
1 chopped green pepper
1 lb. fried and crumbled bacon
8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
tomato wedges for garnish

Dressing:
2 c. salad dressing (I think she means Miracle Whip)
1 c. sugar
2 Tbs vinegar
1 tsp celery seed
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp chives
