We haven't quite got into it yet....But I think Robbie & Alice have at least gone cacheing, and from hearing them talk about it, they love it!

Tim and Susan,
We have the containers ready, but as fulltimers, we just haven't really found the right spot where we would be able to service the cache(s).
Do you have caches in other places besides your home neighborhood?
We really love geocaching, it gets us out and about and we see places we normally wouldn't even know exist!

Robbie and Alice,
Susan and I have not placed any either. I don't have any excuse except I always do more cacheing when we travel than around San Antonio. I get a blog from the geocaching site on new caches in our area and there are usually 10-20 each week. So I need to get in gear and get out there! A close friend of mine in Nixon, Texas where we grew up has placed about 25 around town and some are really tough! It is fun to return to your hometown and do a little caching.
Just like you we have been to more unique places that we would have never visited without geocaching. This weekend, my brother and his wife described some of the unique places they have been in San Francisco looking for caches.

Tim and Susan, I don't get on the forum very much so I just saw your note about geocaching. We (Ma&Pa) started about 4-5 years ago. We have found 1800 from Alaska- south Texas and south Florida. We are from Indiana. My wife, Pa, has hidden 49 most in Indiana, but she also hid 4 in south Texas, 1 in SanAntonio Tx, and 3 in Alaska. It really helps us when we go into a new part of the country in learning the area quickly and seeing many things we wouldn't see otherwise. Our best friends we met in south Texas have been full timers for 19 years from Washington State and are great at geocaching . Their code name is Zrver's, we go by ma&pa.

Tim & Sue , I forgot to tell you to look up "Welcome to SanAntonio" in your home town on the north west corner close to I-10 and 1604 close to 6 flags. If you find it in your write up tell us you read about it in the Montana forum.
