Subscribe?

Are there certain topics that aren't subscribeable?

On some topics, the checkbox for 'check here to subscribe to this topic' is not available.

There are some threads that do not have the subscribe feature active (most threads are active). At one time there was an issue with bandwidth. I'm not sure if that is still true or not. Perhaps ForumCo Support will stop by and give us some additional insight into this situation.

As admin you have to enable subscriptions for the forum that contains the topic.

I asked that question a few days ago and apparently was posted in the wrong spot... Glad to see that at least you are getting a response, Robbie/

The subfolder on the National Rally does not have a "Subscribe" link and it is a very important group of topics that we need to keep updated on. Also the cell phone and internet sub folder does not have this link.

Is there any progress on enabling subscriptions? I had asked for the "2009 Spring Rally" to be enabled, and was told it would be, but nothing has happened yet.

It doesn't seem like the task is too difficult, assuming you are an Admin, according to the following tutorial.

It would be great if this was resolved. I rely heavily on subscriptions. I do use the "Active Topics", but it is it my secondary source of MOC info.

Also, I thought there was at one time a way to subscribe to a sub folder group of topics if desired. Maybe I'm wrong, but this would be a great addition. That way an MOCer could be updated on any/all topics on that start up under the 2008 National Fall Rally, for instance.
