Anyone happen to remember how long this sofa is? If memory is right, I (at 6' tall) could not lay on the new sofa I saw in Goshen. The sofa in my 3400RL is 3 cushions wide, I can lay end to end on it.

E-Mailed my dealer for confirmation of that price as a couple of days ago he did not know although he had a couple on order. I thought they would be a very lot more.I do have a order in for one to be installed when we get back from Arizona but at that price I will write the check now..

Good point Montana Sky on the length. I can't tell from the picture. I see it doesn't have the highback either which I like. hmmmm
Guess I don't really have a preference either way.
Rich, I'm sure thats just the upgrade price. Replacement couch is probably a lot more.

I didn't measure it but it appeared the same size as the standard sofa sleeper.
On the back, I think the back is about the same height as the standard sofa sleeper. I think.

Steve,
I studied your pic some more and I think you're right - they probably are the same length. It just looks like an illusion as they only have two cushions compared to the old three cushions, but the two cushions are much wider.
I guess I would still miss the "camelback" design, or whatever you want to call it. Our 2003 was flat in the back and I was kind of looking forward to the new design I saw in the 2007. The air bed went back to the flat in the back design.

The size of the bed is still a full queen size so I would assume the sofa is the same length but just wider cushions.

Latest info I have on the new hide a bed sofa is that the dealer's cost is $175 (MSRP $275). I believe the dealer I spoke to said the manufacturer is a company called "FLAIR", but I'm not positive on that as I wasn't focused on that issue.

Tried to order one today, Montana told my dealer they didn't know what he was talking about.

Looking again at that picture of the storage area under the sofa, it does not appear in the picture to be as deep as it is, because of the angle of the picture. If you look at the right side of the box you can see how deep it is.

Dennis,
I would contact your dealership. You should be able to order one through the parts department. I am wondering if the decor color will match the new sofa??

Dave, as I said in that earlier post, I did that and Montana told the dealer they didn't know what he was talking about. As for fabric, well, I could live with a different color or have it recovered.

Dennis,
Sorry I missed your previous post. The new sofa just made its first "showing" to dealers 2 weeks ago in Lexington, KY. From what I have been told, you can order the new sofa starting next week on new coach orders. It is made by Flair, might try calling them.

Thanks Dave, maybe I'll just have to buy a new 3400.
